The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel. The 324 meter tower was the world’s tallest structure when it was built as the entrance to the 1889 World Fair. The tower’s three levels house restaurants, cafes, gift shops and several observation decks that overlook the whole of Paris.

Once an imperial palace, home to kings and emperors of the Holy Roman Empire, the Hofburg is now the official residence of Austria’s President. A massive 240,000 square meter building is divided into 18 wings, 11 courtyards and over 2,500 rooms. It is bound to impress!
